What are the testing and inspection requirements?

Restaurant style wet chemical extinguishing systems are typically inspected and tested semi-annually to verify that they appear to be in good operating condition, free of physical damage and to verify alarm system operation.  For actuation tests, the wet chemical agent is disconnected prior to operation of the manual release or fusible link.  Fusible links should be replaced semi-annually.
